Under Contract
You are now in the official process of a buyer purchasing your Colorado home. It can be a little tense but you need to keep the big picture in mind. Remember the end goal is to sell your home under terms that you and the buyer can agree upon. Your best interest throughout the process should be looked out for by your Colorado Real Estate Agent.
Negotiating
You and your Colorado Real Estate Agent will discuss what the goals are with regard to purchase price, any assiatance with the buyers' closing costs, and other deadlines and dates that need to be agreed upon.
Inspection
Buyer's have the right to hire an inspector and inspect your home themselves to gain knowledge, they can ask you to lower the price, fix the items that came up in the inspection, or terminate the contract if they are not comfortable with the results of the inspection.
Closing
The Closing date is arranged and this is where the property is officially transferred from the seller to the buyer.
Moving
Quite often preparation for moving is taking place while the house is under contract. Typically there is an agreed date when the seller needs to be out of the property and the buyer can move in.
