After 7, yes, 7 hours of showing homes in an area totally unfamiliar to me and barely familiar to my GPS (that got it wrong 2 times)my car was exhausted and I was running against time.
I was very late to most showing appointments and had to keep calling to change the showing times.
The question is do you drive very slow or very fast down a washboard road?
I chose slow and even at that my back seat was vibrating and all I could…

Factors to Consider Before Investing In Rural Areas Outside of Denver
In most cases, Denver acreage property is normally located in the outskirts of cities and towns. This means that there are certain factors that should be taken into consideration if you are thinking about purchasing property of an acre or more.
In cities, amenities like water, electricity and sewer services are provided by the local authorities. This is not the case for those living outside the city. Instead, septic tanks are used for sewerage, and water is provided through wells. The owner is responsible for their maintenance, and social amenities may be few and far between.
It is important to carry out a thorough inspection of the property to determine if the well or septic system

When you first walk into model homes in Denver it is easy to fall in love with the home. Everything has been professionally decorated so that you see the home’s true potential and fall into the trap. You may decide to purchase a developer’s home based on a model that has upscale furniture and designs that you could never afford. Furthermore, after looking at some of the empty houses, you may decide to purchase the model itself. In many cases this is not a wise decision to make.

That line, made famous by Shakespear, is a great quote. Look around the room you are in right now and ask yourself how you would feel about any item had it another name? Have you thought about the name of the street on which you live? Did the name, the commonality or the ease at which you can spell it have any affect on your decision to buy it?
Can we all agree that names are sometimes fascinating? I mean, who comes up with some of them? While showing homes to a client today we drove down Motsenbocher Way when two interesting topics arose: 1) How much is a homes saleability affected by the name of the street on which it sits? 2) What’s a Motsenbocher?

And my story begins...A huge group of my friends and I were doing our usual Tuesday night of dancing at the Holiday Inn. One of the friends told me there were people here from Washington D. C. They are in Real Estate and their bus is parked out back and the driver is asleep. What bus?? I was then introduced to the N.A.R. group that is here for the Home Ownership 3 city tour. Denver is stop number 2.
What a fun group of folks to get to know.
Go to the Town Meeting and you will get to have a question and answer session with Ron Phipps the current N.A.R. president. They also will have a consumer event at the Denver Home Show at the National Western Complex on March 19th.
