Denver Real Estate Market sees the smallest 12-month drop in home prices since mid-2010 according to the Case-Schiller report. Out of the 20 cities tracked by the Case-Schiller report from Standard & Poor’s, Denver saw a better performance better than 17 of those states. All of those 17 states saw a greater one-year price decline.
Denver did record a .5% price decline between October and November 2001, according to the report, but it was smaller than 17 of the 20 states that were tracked. The prices in the report reflect the resales of stand-alone single-family homes only, and not new construction or condominiums.
Only 2 of the 20 cities saw a better performance in November 2011 than Denver; Detroit and Washington.

Echo Lake is located at the foot of Mt. Evans in Colorado.
Mt Evans is 14,240 feet to the summit. Along the way up you will see mountain goats and Bighorn sheep. In the fall you will be surprised at the beautiful fall colors of the Aspen trees. Mt. Evans is the highest paved road in North America. It is 33.5 miles west of Denver. The road to the summit is closed now for the season but will reopen May 25th 2012.
