My real estate career started in 1985 when I went to see my favorite mortgage banker about getting a loan to help continue financing my drapery and windowcovering business. Instead of giving me a loan he offered me a position as loan originator. It didn't take long for me to find out how volitile the mortgage business was. The office I was at was closed so I went to another company and learned how to broker loans to credit unions and savings and loan companies. I worked for several mortgage companies which did bond loans to first time homebuyers and builder loans. Sitting behind a desk was not for me so I was able get a real estate license in 1993 and use my years of experience to become a Broker. The first real estate company I worked for also had a real estate school and I taught the finance part of the licensing classes. The owner of the school was a master at marketing properties and under his training I learned the art of combining financing and marketing to successfully market homes primarily under $250,000 and to help first time buyers negotiate their home purchases. Top Priority Realty was started in 1997. Thrughout the years I have been blessed with being able to train many excellent Realtors and professionals. We are members of the North Denver Metro Realtors Association, Colorado Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
